Wheel thrown white stoneware teapot, with hand applied slip for surface texture. Spout and handle were thrown seperately and assembled once the body had dried enough. After bisque firing, the teapot was given a white liner glaze and a rutile matte exterior glaze to mimic the local beaches. The glaze fire achieved cone 9.
